This quote means that as long as you do good and don't cheat you are always a winner.You may get last place but you did great and most importantly did what was right.An example would be a relay race;The other teams might have cuted through the filed but you chose the right and ran what was expected to run.If you chose the wrong, you might get caught and will have to face the consequences.When you chose the right not only do you feel good but you are also making a better person of yourself.
