I think this means that  you are the example to follow.Ax ex. would be your teacher gives homework and every one complains about it and they don't do it, but you are gonna do the right thing and do your work this later on will help you on in test or in life itself.Another ex. would be you doing you running your laps around the field and your friends say it's too far or i'm too lazy.Doing the right thing can be hard and you can find it easier for yourself to do wrong since everyone else does it.

I think this quote means that hard work will help you achieve your most important goal, but if you slack off  you will not achieve your goal.In the field if you want to do a trick or a play you practice and practiecd until you are able to master it, but if you don't practice beacuse you are lazy or tired and putting excuses for yourself you will be delied and won't achieve your goal.In live you have to work hard to earn what you want.For ex. if you want to buy a PS4 you try finding a job and earn money to buy it.Another ex. would be you trying to get a six pack and you are too lazy and just quit.

I think this quote means that if your friends do bad things to harms you or that put you in danger the aren't really your friends.There is saying "tell me your friends and I will tell you who you are."These two quotes are similar because they basically mean if your friends do the right that are good if not oh well.In the field if your friends cheat in training and you do the right then you are more likely to be last longer than them in a real game.If your boss tells you to do something important and your friends tell you to ditch work they aren't really your friends because they don't choose the right.
