The story starts off in the desert where a boy and his family that are in vacation.
The kid was told to always wear his shoes because of the danger of snakes,thorns, and scorpions.The little boy was going for a small walk and thought to himself that nothing bad was going to happen.the unexpected had happened, he was stung by a scorpion.His parents rushed to the nearest hospital which was 2 hours away.The doctors injected an anesthetic to relieve the pain.
