I think this quote means that whatever you do in life will stay and be told by people.It means that will be well known forone of two things a good man or the imature person.In the field if you are a tremendous player you coach will be pleased to have you in the team and you will have a good realtionship with him.When you move on he will tell your story to his new recrewts.But if you were the player who was alays late to practice and has a high temper your coach will use you as an example to of what not to be.
