*Educate the patients on oral health care   *Assessing treatment options

*Examining teeth and diagnosing patients dental condition by using tools such as X-rays

*Carrying out agreed clinical treatment such as restoring teeth affected by decay and treating gum diseases

Salary:*Newly qualified dentists wanting to work in the NHS need to undertake dental foundation : $30,132 per year

*Self employed : $50,000 -$110,00 per year *Dentists employed by the NHS gain:$38,095- $81,480

Education:Bachelor’s degree prior to admission to dental school; doctoral degree in dental medicine or dental surgery
